Job Opening – Associate

 We are looking for a mid to senior Associate to join our “Corporate and M&A Team”.

 The role

 You will:

  • demonstrate and further develop the ability to work on a wide variety of transactions, including M&As, restructurings, compliance with the regulatory and legislative framework and commercial contracts;
  • provide advice in corporate or (pre)bankruptcy matters;
  • be engaged in drafting, review and negotiation of financial, construction and any kind of commercial contracts;
  • represent clients in litigation;
  • participate in meetings with clients;
  • draft newsletters on various commercial legal issues.

 Candidate requirements:

To apply for this position, candidates must:

  • have a bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB); a specialised master’s degree (LLM) in the areas of Corporate, Commercial or Business Law would be considered as an advantage;
  • be qualified as an attorney-at-law in Greece; admissions to any foreign bar associations are welcome;
  • have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in commercial legal matters and be familiar with the operation of all types of companies;
  • have excellent command of the English language;
  • have an extensive professional experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements;
  • have a strong experience in advising on complex business arrangements and M&A transactions;
  • have ability to work autonomously and independently but also able to work as a team player under specific deadlines;
  • have excellent communication and organization skills;
  • have high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
